We like writing software in Python with PyQt and PyKDE so, naturally, we think it would make lots of people's lives a lot nicer if they did, too. Here are some ways you can let people know about PyQt and PyKDE:
Create and distribute your own PyQt applications and packages.
- Write about it in your weblog.
Answer questions on TheMailingList
- Write articles for magazines and online publications.
The Python Papers might be a good publication to write for.
Python Magazine is a monthly magazine dedicated exclusively to Python.
Add your PyQt applications to Qt-Apps.org and PyKDE applications to KDE-Apps.org.
Upload details of your software to the Python Package Index (a.k.a. The Cheese Shop).
- Talk at conferences such as
PyCon (USA)
Submit patches for bugs and new features to the PyQt and PyKDE maintainers.
