Hope not ot be off-topic in placing some links for beginners here and there. Be assured that I'm trying to find a proper position in each case.
Likewise with the creators of this wiki I believe very much in the potential of PyQT with whatever additional helpers and tools. Somehow, yet, it feels that a beginner - like myself - has quite a mileage ahead to become a somewhat comfortable user even of the basics only. So I'm trying to help spreading the use of this valuable module.
Ok, I fixed it. It was just a wiki system page that wasn't encoded in UTF-8. Thanks for the report -- TorstenMarek
